Hand Signals

Hand Signals as they appear on page 33 of the Vermont Snowmobile Safety Course Manual

Always use hand signals to communicate with your party and oncoming traffic.

* Note – Last Sled in Line is generally a show of a closed Fist.  Sleds following is
noted as a show of fingers to represent how many sleds are behind you in your party.

(If more than five, show as five fingers, if wearing mittens, show open fist to denote you are not the last sled in line)
